The Isle of Wight Music Hub worked with St Saviour’s RC Primary School, Totland and composed original music for The Great Light and Dark Show. Inspired by themes of space and the ‘Big Bang’ pupils in Years 5 and 6 explored sound using a combination of technology (iPads) and real percussion instruments. Their musical outcomes contributed to the soundtrack for the film; the composition was subsequently performed live by the pupils at ‘The Great Light and Dark event in Parish Hall’, Totland.
