Inspired by the drawings of Robert Hooke in his publication Micrographia (1665) pupils from St Saviour’s RC Primary School, Totland worked with local artist Hannah Ray to create their own ‘enlargergrams’. Using an overhead projector the pupils explored the detail of natural materials such as snake skin, pieces of fruit and bird feathers to make large scale pencil drawings for display at The Great Light and Dark Show.
